Biography of Super Star Rajesh Hamal A.K.A Rajesh Dai

Rajesh Hamal born on September 7, 1965 in Palpa needs no introduction in Nepali movie industry. He is supposed to be one of the biggest actors in whole the industry so far, and is also called the 'MAHA NAYEK' which means the Great actor. He started his career with the movie "Yug Dheki Yug Samma" in 1988. Since then he has been continuously involved in the film industry. Till the date he has appeared in more than two hundreds of Nepali movies. Talking about his career, he first modelled for Indian magazine named Fashion Net. Similarly he also has walked the ramp, appeared in several advertisements, and played role in Nepali comedy shows and so on.

During late 90's Rajesh Hamal was the most dominant actor in Nepalese Film industries. If only the poster of the film used to include his photo, it was almost super duper hit before the show date. For all his contribution, dedication, love, and effort to Nepalese Film industries he has been honored with various National and international awards. He 1st received National Film award for "Best Actor Debut" in 1989 for the movie 'Yug Dekhi Yug Samma'. Since then, he has won more than 12 National Film Awards for "Best Actor" and being nominated for more than 100 times in various films awards.
