David Farrier and Dylan Reeve's Tickled is a perfect confluence of documentary technique, interested subject, expert reporting, and chance capturing of extraordinary bullshit. Usually, documentaries are lucky to have one of these four things. Watching Tickled was like watching a slow-motion train-wreck as a supposedly benign puff piece evolves into an authentic international conspiracy. And over what? Videos of men getting tickled. It's impossible to watch Tickled without being morbidly curious, disgusted, and enraged. It's an extraordinary piece of filmmaking. Don't miss it. Sorry...don't really have anything else to say about it right now.
