Now...it's time....
I simply did not want to even whisper the word...CHRISTMAS,
until the calender turned to December 1st.
However, it seems as if the neighbors have
strung up their twinkling lights and others
have already put up their tree and are fully decorated!

Our fall season is coming to an end.....and the
memories we made were wonderful!
Let the shopping, baking and secrets begin!
I'll take care of the inside and the darling
can handle the outside!
Are you ready to make merry?
I am not a "mall shopper" any longer
and have not been for years now!
I appreciate the comfort of my own home
when browsing and clicking
"add to cart!"
However, I do enjoy the holiday decor at a few of the
big box stores.
I simply fell in love with this Martha Stewart bottle brush tree...
it is going to be the perfect accent of nostalgia for
Mother and Grandmothers little vintage figurines!
Better Homes and Gardens added two new designs to the
Christmas dinnerware this year and I bought two
of each new design.
This truly is my favorite set of holiday china!
I have a beautiful and large set of this china now
and it will be left to my darling daughter for her future Christmas galas!
The gifts I am sending to Miss M and her family,
along with my sister Miss Judy down Pensacola Way
have been purchased and are ready for wrapping!
I love wrapping a beautiful package that they
will enjoy under their tree!
I know exactly what is going atop our piano this season
and have planned it for some time....can't wait!
The Christmas tree will go up this weekend
and it will probably take me a few days to decorate.
The darling is scheduled for knee surgery this week
so I will be on nurse duty for a bit!
Hmmmm....this puts me in the mood to bake cookies,
add a touch of bourbon to the eggnog and watch old
Christmas movies.....
