From the last post about M.A.C's Heirloom Collection, I am reviewing two products from that collection:
Courting Chic Cremesheen Glass:
It is described as a deep berry red with gold sparkles. A medium-dark, cool-toned red with gold shimmering sparkle. A very hydrating lipglass, unlike I expected due to the shimming sparkles in contains.
It is not very pigmented yet it applied fairly evenly, though some color settled into lip lines. When you see the tube from the outside, you would expect it would be very dark on your lips, but it is not at all. It lasted for three hours on me.
Prim & Proper eyeshadow pressed pigment:
It is described as a black gray with silver sparkles. A cool-toned, very dark gray with silver glittery sparkles. Applied dry, it was barely opaque, and applied damp, it was more opaque, metallic, and tended to clump.
This shade was difficult to apply both wet and dry- as dry, it was dry and stiff, where the color clumped together and specks. It didn't apply like a powder eyeshadow, more like loose glitter and had to pat the brush on my lid so that the glitter would stick on and wouldn't fall out; as damp, application seemed to make it stick without blending much.
It started to crease after seven and a half hours of wear, and I had a fair amount of fall out with this one throughout the day. This one is very hard to work with and very high maintenance, despite the pretty shade that suits the festive season pretty much.
